Room Information

The colours of our 190 rooms and 19 suites reflect the proximity of the water and the distinctive blue-green tones of the lake. The rooms are elegantly simple, featuring artistically selected textiles and watercolour-style decorations that evoke the gentle atmosphere of Lake Balaton. Almost every room offers a stunning view.

STANDARD Twin Room

Inspired by the colours of Lake Balaton, our 80 STANDARD twin rooms feature a friendly blue-green palette.
These air-conditioned rooms with spacious showers are located on floors 1–6, overlooking the hotel park, with partial views of Lake Balaton and the surrounding hills of Balatonalmádi.
Each room includes two beds with 90 × 200 cm mattresses, which can be pushed together upon request.
Three of these rooms are specially designed to accommodate guests with reduced mobility.

STANDARD Panoramic Room

Enjoy the breathtaking views of Lake Balaton from any of our 66 uniquely designed, atmospheric rooms reflecting the natural colours of the region.
Located on floors 5–12, all rooms are air-conditioned, feature a shower cabin, and come with a 180 × 200 cm double bed.
These rooms are ideal for couples seeking relaxation.

Family Room

Our connecting family rooms are ideal for families with one or more children.
Each room pair features its own TV and bathroom with a shower, as well as two separate entrances.
The rooms comfortably accommodate four guests without extra beds. One room is equipped with 90 × 200 cm beds, while the other features a 180 × 200 cm double bed.
The rooms are separated by soundproof, lockable double doors.

Junior Suite

Our 12 elegantly furnished, two-room suites offer a magnificent view from both the double bedroom and the comfortable living area — the panorama of Lake Balaton truly embraces you.
The 36 m² suite can accommodate up to four guests, making it ideal both for couples seeking tranquillity and families with children.
One of our special connecting units (two rooms + one suite) can be booked exclusively via email, depending on availability.
Each suite includes a 180 × 200 cm double bed and a 160 × 200 cm sofa bed in the living room.

BÁL PREMIUM Suite

Our 7 exclusive, two-room suites are located on floors 9–12 of Hunguest BÁL Resort.
A walk-in wardrobe accessible from the double bedroom and a spacious living area ensure maximum comfort for guests staying longer or arriving with family.
With their west–northwest orientation, enlarged glass surfaces, stunning views of Lake Balaton and the surrounding hills, and additional premium amenities, these suites guarantee perfect relaxation.

Fire Safety Regulations
Activities that could cause fire or explosion are strictly prohibited in rooms.
The use of personal appliances such as coffee makers, heaters, hot plates, or irons is strictly forbidden.
Fire Safety Rules
• Smoking is strictly prohibited in the rooms.
• Storing or using flammable liquids in the room is forbidden.
• Malfunctioning electrical equipment (lamps, switches, TV, etc.) is dangerous. Please report any issues to the housekeeping staff or Reception immediately.
• In case of fire, break the fire alarm device located near the escape route, which will automatically notify Reception. Additionally, please call Reception to report the exact location of the fire.
• Do not use the lifts during a fire! Exit the building via the staircases, following the escape routes displayed on your room door.

SPA HOUSE RULES

1. The house rules apply to the entire area of BÁL Resort SPA. The use of SPA services is only permitted in compliance with these rules.
2. The SPA facilities may only be used at one’s own risk.
3. The opening hours are displayed at the entrance.
4. Children under the age of 12 may only enter the SPA area under adult supervision.
5. The following persons are not permitted to use the SPA services: persons with fever, infectious diseases, noticeable or extensive skin conditions, conditions accompanied by seizures or loss of consciousness, open wounds, as well as intoxicated guests or individuals under the influence of drugs or narcotic medication.
6. Children under the age of 12 are not permitted to use the sauna area or the fitness room.
7. All SPA users must follow the instructions of lifeguards and pool attendants.
8. Entry into the pools with an unclean body is prohibited! Before using the pools, showering and using the foot bath is mandatory.
9. Smoking and eating are only permitted in designated areas. Eating and consuming alcohol in the pool area is strictly prohibited!
10. Fragile or dangerous objects must not be placed in or near the pools.
11. Bringing animals into the SPA area is prohibited, with the exception of guide dogs.
12. The use of slippers is mandatory in the SPA area.
13. Please note that the surfaces around the pools may be wet and slippery. Pay extra attention to the risk of slipping!
14. We do not accept liability for accidents resulting from guests’ negligence or improper use of the facilities.
15. Bringing alcoholic beverages into the SPA area is not permitted. Guests under the age of 18 are not allowed to consume alcohol in the SPA.
16. The SPA reserves the right to terminate the service contract with immediate effect if a guest misuses the SPA facilities or fails to comply with safety regulations and rules.
17. Any damages caused by the unjustified use of manual fire alarms in the SPA building are the financial responsibility of the person causing the damage or their legal representative.
18. It is strictly forbidden to store flammable or explosive substances or to operate privately owned electrical appliances in the SPA area.
19. As a facility dedicated to relaxation, recreation, and leisure, any behavior that exceeds the limits of socially acceptable conduct, causes disturbance, or disrupts the peace, safety, or privacy of other guests is strictly prohibited, regardless of the time of day. In particular, harassment, intimidation, or any behavior that could be considered as such is forbidden.
20. SPA staff are entitled to warn guests who are disruptive, noisy, or behaving offensively under the influence of alcohol or other intoxicating substances. After repeated warnings, the SPA reserves the right to terminate the service contract unilaterally and with immediate effect, and to expel the guest from the SPA area without refund or compensation.
21. Any extraordinary events—such as personal injury, fire, or the presence of hazardous objects—must be reported to the staff immediately, who are required to take appropriate action.
22. We do not accept responsibility for unattended belongings left in the SPA area. Please use the lockers provided for valuables.
23. Lost property should be handed in at reception. If the rightful owner claims it, they must present an ID card and sign for receipt. Lost items may be collected at the reception desk.
24. For the safety of our guests, the area is monitored by cameras, and the hotel provides 24-hour security service.
25. Anyone who intentionally damages or removes SPA equipment will be liable for compensation, may face legal proceedings, and can be expelled from the SPA area.
26. SPA users may submit complaints or positive feedback regarding the service, staff conduct, or SPA operation in the guestbook located at the information desk.
27. Please do not disturb other guests’ peace and relaxation with loud or inappropriate behavior.
28. Compliance with these house rules is mandatory for all guests staying in the SPA area. Anyone violating the house rules may be expelled.

GYM HOUSE RULES

These house rules apply to everyone using the gym facilities of Hunguest BÁL Resort Spa, as well as to anyone staying in the area for other purposes.

The gym is open daily from 6:00 AM to 8:00 PM. Use of the gym is free of charge for guests of Hunguest BÁL Resort. Services may only be used in appropriate mental, physical, and health condition.

Services may only be used while wearing suitable workout clothing and closed sports shoes. Visitors are required to wear clean, appropriate, and safe attire (not posing any risk of accident) during use.

Only beverages in closed plastic bottles may be consumed while using the facilities.

It is forbidden to place dumbbells, heavy items, or personal belongings on machines with leather upholstery.

Disturbing or interrupting individuals while exercising is strictly prohibited.

All equipment must only be used as intended, and services must only be used for their proper purpose.

Everyone enters and uses the gym facilities at their own risk and responsibility.

If a guest or any person behaves in violation of these rules, or if their mental, physical, or health condition clearly makes them unfit to use the services, Hunguest BÁL Resort staff are entitled to issue a warning.

When using equipment, the use of a towel is recommended, while the use of the provided disinfectants is mandatory. Hand disinfection is required before entering the gym.
