Tourist tax (from the age of 18) is 550 HUF/person/night, from 1st of January 2026. 750 HUF/person/night, which is not included in the room rates and is payable on the spot. Any changes in the current applicable taxes may result in automatic price changes.

From 1 September 2021, in accordance with the legislation in force, accommodation providers in Hungary must record all guests' personal data, as defined by law, via a document scanner upon arrival. Accepted documents for Hungarian citizens: identity card, driving licence, passport. The regulation applies to all guests, and from 1 January 2023 children will also be required to present a photo document in order to use our services. Hotel rooms are available from 14:00 on the day of arrival until 10:00 on the day of departure.

4-11 years: 50% discount on the price for adult guests sharing room with parents

Payment and cancellation conditions
A deposit of 50% of the services ordered is required within 7 days of booking to the following bank account. Bank transfer in EUR please use our following account:

Before sending the transfer, please be sure to provide your billing name and address by clicking on the following e-mail address: gazdasag@hotelerkel.hunguesthotels.hu, to which the advance invoice and the final invoice will be sent. Without this information we will not be able to record the amount received for your booking. Please include your name and date of arrival in the remittance note. If you are requesting an invoice in company name, please include the company tax number. We will issue an e-invoice for the amount received, which will be sent to the e-mail address recorded in the booking.
In case of cancellation by the guest, the bank charges and administration costs of the return will be deducted from the deposit.
If you order the hotel services without paying the deposit, our hotel reserves the right to request payment for the hotel services ordered at the latest on arrival.
Cancellation deadline: at least 7 days before arrival.
In the event of late cancellation or no-show, the hotel will charge a 50% penalty on the total value of the services ordered.
