EVENTS, CONFERENCES, TRENDS - if you are in Budapest, forget the obligatory "looking for a venue within 100 km". The wonder of the Balaton Highlands is worth the extra half hour. The Pelion's magnificent private rooms and the brand new 500-seat FORUM conference and event hall are well worth it. Our prices are solid, our park and services offer a wealth of creative ideas for indoor and outdoor activities.

FAMILIES - when is an adult's holiday carefree? When you are catered for, comfortable and your child is occupied for longer or shorter periods. We create that carefree feeling for you with the comfort and attentive service we offer, as well as active occupation for little ones and even younger ones. In our hotel's "nursery", the Tapolca Pocak Klub, children can feel like they are in a realm of fairy tales. There's almost no age limit here, because the children of our returning regulars don't want to outgrow it, they have so much fun here. Who would want to miss out on the best children's activities? If the weather is nice, head for the huge garden! Here, too, there are plenty of games to keep young and old busy. There's a pirate ship, trampolines, sports fields, mini-golf and lots of other sports and activities.

GASTRONOMY - Our Orchidea restaurant is preparing a gourmet feast to tempt your guests. Our chef prepares mostly Hungarian cuisine, but we also offer international specialities on a daily basis. We regularly organise theme evenings, when we complement our already wide gastronomic offer with typical dishes from the cuisine of a particular nation.

PROGRAMMES - our regular wellness programmes (water gymnastics, stretching), "energy eating" sessions for children, special programmes on special weekends make your stay with Pelion more meaningful. A holiday or just a short weekend should not be complete without sport and active relaxation, we have lots of ideas for that too! We also recommend programmes in Tapolca and the Balaton Highlands.

The Hunguest Hotel Pelion is located in the centre of the town, in a four-hectare park, above the spa cave, which can be reached directly from the hotel via a covered passageway.

The pools are supplied by a private thermal water well drilled in the hotel park. The hotel's spa is connected to the cave by a direct corridor, unique in Europe, and the treatments are supervised by a pulmonologist.
