Freeride sectors

Sector A - Schareck

Schareck is the ski resorts central mountain and ridable from nearly all sides. If you avoid the eastside off „Skiroute Fleiss“ and the avalanche barriers it offers easy runs.

Exposition: SW – S – SE

Sea level: 2.600m – 1.750m

Sector B - Fallbichl

Due to its high altitude these slopes are guaranteed to have snow during the whole winter. Quite steep terrain with many cliffs that invite for some drops during the run.

Exposition: S - W - NW

Sea level: 2.600m – 2.200m

Sector C - Viehbühel

Due to its high altitude these slopes are guaranteed to have snow during the whole winter. As long as the risk of avalanches is low, these slopes offer good rides.

Exposition: S – E

Sea level: 2.500m – 2.200m

Sector D - Fleissalm

Most varied with steep and alpine terrain in the upper section and long smooth pastures in the lower ones. Trespassing the wildlife reserve is prohibited!

Exposition: W

Sea level: 2.900m – 1.800m

Sector E - Tauerntal

In terms of orientation this is challenging terrain with numerous avalanche-proneareas.


 

 

Sector F - Tal Runs

he runs located in Sector F are only possible at the height of winter and booking a guide is highly recommended. Trespassing the wildlife reserve is prohibited!

Exposition: SW - S - E

Sea level: 1.900m – 1.200m
